  • Potter & Instructor

Heralding from the Flamborough Ontario farming community, Nick is an accomplished potter (16 years) and instructor (14 years). His hands have always been in the earth, leading to an easy transition to clay.

Primarily self-taught, Nick understands the trials and tribulations of the beginner and the celebration of accomplishment.

Nick’s work is heavily influenced by Korean, Japanese, and English functional wear. His passion for teaching almost outweighs his love for pottery and farming.

Nick has also enjoyed participating in various large-scale events over the years including Fan Expo, Anime North, and Hamilton’s Supercrawl.

    Welcome Nick!

  • Multidisciplinary Artist, Instructor, and Owner

Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Jamis has been an artist her whole life. She has always has a love for drawing, and is constantly inspired to try creating in different mediums.

Her love for ceramics comes from its versatility, and she loves the different challenges of each of the stages of crafting a ceramic piece, as well as the endless possibilities. She is currently very inspired by exploration in her own work, particularly how to translate her drawing/painting inspirations into glaze.

Jamis loves teaching- she has always found herself falling into teaching rolls throughout her life, often times unintentionally. It’s definitely her calling! As a relative newcomer to ceramics, her accommodating teaching style and fostering of independent development and artistic expression are something that sets her classes apart.
